Btrust Developer Day

I am an open-source Bitcoin developer from South Africa 🇿🇦, focused on advancing the Lightning Development Kit (LDK), with recent work on dual-funded channels and splicing to make Lightning Network more efficient and accessible. My current open-source work is funded by Btrust.
I also contributes to various Bitcoin ecosystem projects, especially those written in Rust.I also played a foundational role in Qala, now Btrust Builders where I served as an instructor and curriculum contributor for the first two cohorts.I hold a degree in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Pretoria, and have experience working as a software engineer at Luno, the cryptocurrency exchange.
